Description

The sip is composed of lighter, yet incredibly intriguing scents and flavors, focusing heavily on a combination of grain and spice. This combination results in a great array of baked breads combining with various forms of spices particularly around cinnamon and rye spice. While it sometimes sounds cliche to talk about chasing proof, in this case the whiskey feels like it could benefit from being just a few proof points higher. That said, Blue Run Spirits succeeds overall in their first rye release which should easily please the masses.
