Talk about an unexpected find! Normally we only get Rose from red grapes, as that's where the color comes from. In this case, the slightly pinkish hue of Pinot Grigio grape skins, was enough to give this wine the perfect color and taste! I suspect this will be our Top Rose this season.
The bouquet is intense with cherry and wild strawberry that mingle with pleasant citrus accents of pink grapefruit and sweeter notes of yellow peach. The lively acidity enhances the minerality that envelops a consistent structure. The savory finish leaves us with pleasant field flower and white pepper memories.
